Mosaic Arts Collective is a non-profit organization designed to provide individuals of marginalized groups and races the opportunity for arts education, preparation and performance by engaging local resources, increasing accessibility and overall creating more diversity within the regional arts community.
Someone once said that success is found when talent meets opportunity. We feel that to truly experience success in our mission, our first step goes much further than just finding talent or the opportunities. It starts two-fold; identifying the barriers people of color experience in cultivating their gifts as well as educating those that cast or hire talent on how to diversify not just their casts but their story telling as well. Some needs in this area include both the accessibility and affordability of educational offerings in the arts such as lessons in art, singing, dancing, acting, stage presence and more.
Our path is one that leads to you. We are forging a way for area businesses, organizations and individuals to get involved by offering their time, services and financial support to the common goal of diversifying our arts community. Like a mosaic, when we all bring our piece to the table, we create something beautiful.
